What makes the My Bella Color Studio a leader in Hair Coloring?
When it comes to understanding the ABC's of Hair Coloring, Salon owner, Sharon Sovinski has that path paved 100%! With a Fine Art background, and an exceptional understanding of color, it is no surprise that Sharon's original hair coloring work gained national recognition by both ELLE and W Magazines. Upon receiving this recognition Sharon began documenting her knowledge and skills through video and written educational materials making her original foiling work available to other Colorists around the world. Keeping up with the expansion, Sharon created a larger space so that she could expand her staff of Colorists and Stylists through personal training and also offer in-house educational seminars to Colorists and Stylists from around the US. In addition, Sharon is also the creator and author of the largest online hair coloring concept available on the internet today. Sharon is definitely a leader in the field of Hair Coloring! There are no "if's", "and's" or "but's" about it! This is an actuality come to life through hard work and dedication to the Art of Coloring Hair.
Sharon's artistic vision has come to life at the My Bella Color Studio.
Quality of Hair Coloring work
The My Bella Color staff delivers hair coloring work that excels far beyond ordinary results. The reason for these excellent hair coloring results is that each staff Colorist and Stylist has an artistic eye and has been personally trained in hair coloring by Sharon Sovinski.
Formerly known as Ciao Bella Hair Salon in Hollywood CA
After Sharon's original hair color foiling work was placed "outside of the box" while working in a Beverly Hills Hair Salon, Sharon left the "box" and privately launched her Los Angeles hair coloring career from a small bungalow located at 6612 Sunset Blvd., in Hollywood CA in 1997. Driven by her passion for creating ART with Hair Color, Sharon opened Ciao Bella Hair Salon and her hair coloring success literally expanded over night! Less than 3 years into owning Ciao Bella, Sharon received the editorial in Elle Magazine as one of the "TOP TEN Masters of Makeovers".
Creating the My Bella Color Studio
In 2005, 20 years into her hair coloring career, Sharon relocated to Burbank and changed the name from Ciao Bella Hair Salon to The My Bella Color Studio. The primary reason for the name change was that Sharon no longer wanted to be limited to owning a "salon", but wanted a larger, more artistic work space in which she could better service her Clients, have additional Colorists that she would personally train, and offer educational seminars to Stylists wanting to increase their knowledge and skills as a Colorist.
Creating ART with hair coloring on a daily basis
Because Sharon views hair coloring as an Art Form, the Studio is New York Loft-Like - giving the Artists of My Bella Color plenty of room to create! The space is large and wide open. The original, wooden trussed, domed beamed ceiling stands high above. The floor is concrete and artistically stained by Sharon. The entire design of the My Bella Color Studio was specifically tailored to enable the Artists to do their work in an artistically conducive atmosphere. At the My Bella Color Studio the ART of coloring performed ranges from one to three color processes, original multi-color foiling work to extreme hair color correction!
Hair Shaping ranges from slight trims to allow your hair to grow long, to extremely high fashion hair designing. What is offered is complete hair coloring and hair shaping services tailor-made to fit the individual need of every Client!
Attitude-less
As Clients arrive to the Studio each comment on how friendly and different the My Bella Color Studio is from other Salons. At the My Bella Color Studio there is no pretense. Each Client is openly greeted by all Stylists as she arrives. Walking into the Studio is truly like walking into an Art Studio. Yet, there is no arrogant air of "We're Artists", or "We'll do your hair once and charge you so much that you can't return." As Clients arrive, we welcome them, make certain they feel right at home and can afford their hair color and maintenance plan.
Sharon is the first to offer Clients an explanation for the open atmosphere, "I never wanted to own a typical Hair Salon because we're artists who happen to color and cut hair for a living. That's why I call it the Studio." And if additional reassurance is needed, the text above the front door reads "Performing the Fine Art of Beauty" and the text around the large clock on the wall in the Studio reads, "Beauty takes time".
What makes the My Bella Color Studio a Hair Salon?
The only resemblance of the Studio being a Salon is the fact that there are hair chairs and shampoo sinks. Of course there are the legal "Board of Cosmetology" and "City of Burbank" business documents that hang on the wall, but other than that - you are truly walking into a very relaxed, friendly and artistic environment where the dress code is casual. Frequently you will see our Staff sporting blue jeans and tee shirts with their hands stained with hair color. It's ART IN MOTION one Client at a time! Our brushes are tint brushes. Our canvas - your hair!
Pricing
You will see from the price lists that we offer excellent quality Hair Color Services at very affordable prices. Competitors around town that are not achieving results like ours typically charge about 30% more than we do. We believe that Clients should be able to have excellent hair coloring results at prices they can afford.
